Our next stop was Chicago. We've been there once during my 2008 summer in Michigan, so we knew how tasty the Chicago deep dish pizza was like.
We left Boy's house maybe around noon because we woke up late. And we reached Chicago around 6pm. It was the 4th of July so the traffic was a bit crazy.
When we arrived at our hotel, we asked to no avail if they still had the fireworks. Boo!
However, we managed to order the Chicago pizza from Giordano's and it was soooooo nice. We had a good dinner then went to sleep.
The next morning we decided to take a boat ride. Turtle and I really enjoyed it.
We had lunch at the pier and were on our way to Ann Arbor!
And a couple hours later, we reached home sweet home.
By the way, despite me writing this in 2010, this road trip happened in 2009. I have another whole road trip to blog about soon, but this is the end of the road trip 2009 series!
